The client’s employees learnt that driver reaction time and concentration are significantly reduced. In addition, it was clearly demonstrated how blood alcohol content affects the accident rate and drivers’ perceptions of their own abilities.

A separate section focused on the use of breathalysers to measure breath alcohol content and blood alcohol content. Road Safety Russia experts explained how breathalyser tests are carried out and why it is very important that drivers are tested before embarking on a journey.

A demonstration using alcohol impairment simulation glasses was one of the most interesting parts of the day. Wearing the special glasses, participants could observe for themselves how their vision and coordination change under the influence of alcohol.

At the end of the course all the participants received small promotional gifts with inscriptions urging them to always drive sober. The client said that the master class was very informative and interesting and that they were sure this kind of training would help prevent drink driving.
